What is MecaMobility ?
MecaMobility is an application for automatic management of motor vehicle maintenance procedures to be downloaded and installed on IOS or Android compatible smartphones: minimum configuration required for it to operate correctly is 512 MB of RAM & 512 MB of free disk space
How to download the application ?
- Go to Play Store or Apple Store depending on the operating system of your smartphone,
- Type « Mecamobility » in the search bar
- You will see our application appear.
Is there a charge for the MecaMobility application ?
MecaMobility offers 2 different versions:
The free “Access” package: It gives you access to the basic functions of MecaMobility: Archive your registration certificate, insurance certificate, invoice for your last technical check, as well as all maintenance and repair invoices. You will of course have access to our advice and information for your vehicle. With this free version, you do not have the automated predictive maintenance service book. However, you can manually set your service alerts. You do not have the possibility to transfer directly via your application your maintenance archives to the new owner in case of resale of the vehicle.
You can easily access these functions by switching to our «Serenity» version thanks to the link available at the bottom of the home screen.
The MecaMobility « Serenity » pack is available from € 2.99 including VAT, and for an initial period of 1 year.
It gives you the possibility to archive your registration certificate, your insurance certificate, the invoice of your last technical inspection, as well as all maintenance and repair invoices dating at least one month before downloading your application.
In addition, and from a maximum of one month before setting up the application in your smartphone, you can download up to 6 invoices which will automatically implement your maintenance logbook : this latest should be transferable to a possible future buyer of your vehicle (see « Sponsorship » section).
As a real digital assistant, MecaMobility will alert you as the various maintenance deadlines for your vehicle approach, the anniversary date of your vehicle inspection, and will keep you informed of current events in general via various media thanks to our « Flash News ».
I can't log in after downloading my App ?
Only users with a valid username and password will be able to access to the application.
When using MecaMobility for the first time, the user will therefore have to create an account: each user will be identified by their email address and will have to go through an identification window which will ask them to enter their email address and password in order to access to MecaMobility menus.
Following the creation of a new account, a validation email is sent to the username address entered and the user must click on the link therein to validate his registration.
Forgot your password ?
If you forget your password, in the connection window:
- Click on the link « Forgot your password ? »
- Fill in the requested information then validate your password recovery request.
The user will receive a password change validation email containing a link : once clicked, this link will activate the password change.
Why I cannot see the validation email in my inbox?
If you do not see the email in a few minutes, check your “junk mail” folder or “spam” folder. We make every effort to ensure that these emails are delivered. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your junk mail folder and add “support@mecamobility.com” to your White List or Safe Sender List. If you do not receive a confirmation email try submitting the form again. If you still don’t receive an email, then write to support@mecamobility.com explaining the problem. We will do our best to answer your request as soon as possible.
To mark an email message as Not junk in Outlook.com
Open your Junk Email folder and select the messages you want to keep.
From the top toolbar, select Not junk > Not junk (or Not spam > Not spam). You can also open the message and select the It’s not junk link at the top.
If you’ve blocked someone by mistake, open your Blocked senders list and select the Remove next to their name.
Add the sender to your Safe senders list.
I scanned my invoice but it is rejected : why?
- The invoice image is blurry and cannot be processed by the system
- You have exceeded the storage limit of your subscription.
An invoice can contain one or more pages : in this case, press the « next page » button and capture the desired number of pages before validating with the « Finish » button.
I scanned my invoice but it is not in my maintenance log book ?
Only invoices less than a month before downloading the application can be automatically taken care of by the maintenance logbook : if your invoice is more than one month old, and as far it is readable, you will find it in your archives.
An indicator will inform you of the number of invoices validated and recorded in your maintenance log book, the capacity of which is 6 invoices per year.
You dot not receive certain notifications correctly?
Some smartphones prevent apps from running in the background by default, for battery optimization and responding to policies, process management standards, so that your applications continue to function correctly :
To solve this eventual issue, please verify : Settings – Applications – Mecamobility – Battery – Battery optimization – All apps – Mecamobility – Do not optimize.
I just got a new smartphone : how do I get my subscription back ?
You simply download the application from the stores : your username and password will allow you to find your application and its content free of charge, in a few clicks.

How to manage the sponsorship system in case of sale of my vehicle ?
After entering the e-mail address of the new owner, I transfer all the information concerning the maintenance logbook of my vehicle to the new owner, which results in my application, the deletion of all the information related to my old vehicle : my application is now operational to receive information from my new vehicle, and to continue to take full advantage of my subscription.
